I love these pants, but I don't usually break them out until summer. I sort of had a nautical-inspired day today, dreaming of being on a boat and dreaming of being in the sun. I also don't usually wear white to school, nightmares of kids accidently bumping into me with markers without lids or sticky fingers. But, life is too short to go without wearing something because of what might happen.
Lately I have been dragging things out of my closet, a pre-Spring cleanse, forcing myself to judge impulse buys and one-time-worn items. These pants fall into that category, perhaps because I am afraid to wear them. Yet, apparently they will live another day, remaining unscathed throughout school, a visit with my folks, and dinner with a friend.

As a recent teacher's college grad I just have to say that I LOVE your photos of you in classrooms and at school related events. Actually just as a person. It's such a unique and interesting back drop!
