Brunch this morning at a place that serves bottomless mimosas. Shopping in Chinatown and Soho to buy a fake Longchamp bag to pack all the stuff I've bought here, can't even come close to stuffing everything into my suitcase. Jewelry purchased from street vendors. Ground Zero and the Brooklyn Bridge and the happiest feeling that I finally made it to New York but the saddest feeling that I leave tomorrow and I don't want to...

I WANT TO WAKE UP IN A CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS
Shirt: AllSaints, Skirt: Zara, Shoes: Aldo
Have moved from uptown west side to downtown east side, love how different the areas are. So happy to shop at AllSaints finally, have been back a couple more times because once is obviously not enough. Found a loosely-fit shirt that, depending on how you wear it, could be a shirt or a sweater. Perfect for this hot, humid weather, feels like it's just floating around me. Bought shoes from Opening Ceremony that I'll show you a bit later, I'm so in love with them. Not a cloud in the sky tonight so I think I'll finally get to wear them...
Pictures of various things and views of the city, the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, the Flatiron Building, and the Guggenheim. And my new shirt...

IN NEW YORK YOU CAN FORGET, FORGET HOW TO SIT STILL
Walked all day today until I couldn't anymore. Saw so many buildings and museums and shops but feel like I haven't even seen half of what's here. Maybe a bit weird, but my favourite part of New York so far is crossing the streets, actually. Pedestrians never wait for the walk signal, and you can tell who the tourists are because they wait for red lights. Everyone walks like they gotta get somewhere fast, gotta beat everyone else, gotta beat the cars and cabs that are flying in your direction. I've got the hang of it though. Trying best to not seem like a tourist even when taking photos of everything interesting I see, and act like I belong here, which I think I kinda do.
Pictures from the Museum of Natural History, Rockefeller Center, the New York Public Library, Central Park, the Museum of Modern Art, treats throughout the day, and new shoes.

IN NEW YORK FREEDOM LOOKS LIKE TOO MANY CHOICES
Been waiting my whole life to come here. Walking into Times Square, my stomach dropped and my eyes filled with tears and my smile grew as big as it could. Think I fell in love today.
Pictures are from my stroll all down Broadway.
